Meet the people working at Pleo

Here at Pleo, we take pride in our unique hiring process, in the team we built, and the people we're working with. If it wasn’t for each and every one of them, Pleo wouldn’t be the same. Their stories and visions say a lot about what makes Pleo such a special place and such a great company to work for.

Meet our German team 🇩🇪

Our Berlin gang is truly one of a kind. They're ambitious and never miss out on a chance to have some fun – or dance. We’ve seen some pretty special moves in the office.

Overall, they're a pretty relaxed bunch of people – as you can tell from their choice of shoes in the picture above. Birkenstocks seem quite fitting for the Berlin office, wouldn't you say?

In the upcoming weeks, we'll be lifting the curtain and taking a look behind the scenes to introduce you to some of them.

Let’s meet Antonia, Intern Sales and Business Development Pleo Germany

What do you do at Pleo?

I was lucky enough to take part in the Sales and Business Development Summer Internship in Berlin. This meant that I acted as the first point of contact for potential clients in Germany – prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing leads that can ultimately be converted into successful deals.

What were you doing before?

Before starting my internship, I was a full-time student at the University of St. Andrews, and had already gained Sales and Marketing related work experiences across different industries.

Why did you join Pleo?

I joined Pleo because it's so much more than a software tool for finance teams. Pleo, at its core, is a way of defining the culture of a company. And to transform an expense management tool, into a way of showing your employees that you value their work and trust them. I find this fascinating.

In other words: I loved the product, the value it brings to companies, and felt that millions of people would enjoy and find it useful, too.

What’s surprised you most about working here?

The people! I was not expecting them to be that great. Also, how much Pleo encourages and supports the development of their employees.

What excites you about the road ahead with Pleo?

So much! Working at a high-growth company means there is always more to learn and there is always change around the corner. Oh, and the fact that Pleo is setting the tone for the future of work. That is also pretty exciting.
